Pamela Takefman

Of Counsel

Pamela Takefman joined the US team of McAllister Olivarius as Of Counsel in 2023. She brings with her a deep experience of US civil litigation processes, from drafting pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and appellate briefs to taking and defending depositions and cross-examining witnesses. Prior to joining McAllister Olivarius, Pamela was litigation associate at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan in New York, where she represented clients in civil litigation proceedings at both state and federal court level.

While at Stroock, Pamela’s pro bono practice focused on feminism and social justice. She has represented multiple domestic violence survivors in cases involving child custody, support, and orders of protection. She has also been active in the fight for reproductive justice, including advocating on behalf of women of color, low-income women, and gender non-conforming people while representing Reproductive Justice groups in Louisiana and Mississippi.

She graduated magna cum laude from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and was formerly Editor-in-Chief of Cardozo Law & Literature Journal and Symposia Editor of Cardozo Law Review. She was named a “Rising Star” by Superlawyer in 2019 and 2020 and “One to Watch” by Best Lawyers in America in 2021.

Pamela is registered with the New York Bar and works exclusively on US cases.
