Meet Margot

Margot joined McAllister Olivarius as a Legal Analyst in 2022. She studied Law at the University of Oxford before undertaking a Master of Science in Gender at London School of Economics and Political Science. Her academic work drew on legal, political and mediated gender theory to examine student experiences and understandings of sexual harm, and to explore how student interests might be better met within higher education.

Margot was formerly Chair of It Happens Here, a campaign to support survivors of sexual violence. As an undergraduate, Margot was shortlisted for the Oxford Student Union’s Student Voice Award for her work with the organisation. She was also the JCR Gender Representative for her College and an active student journalist.

In her free time, she loves reading, writing and making (very mediocre) artwork, alongside enjoying time with friends and family.
