Makayla joined McAllister Olivarius as a Legal Analyst on our US team in September 2020. Originally from the great heartland state of Nebraska, she graduated cum laude with a political science degree from Yale University in 2019. During her time at Yale she was awarded the Truman Scholarship for her service on the board of the Yale College Democrats, work for Planned Parenthood of Southern New England and engagement in local politics. She is also a George J. Mitchell Scholar and completed an MA in Gender Studies at University College Dublin in 2020. In her free time, she enjoys cooking new vegetarian recipes, hiking and being a Nebraska volleyball evangelist.
