Head US Legal Analyst

Makayla joined McAllister Olivarius as a Legal Analyst on our US team in 2020. Originally from the great heartland state of Nebraska, she graduated cum laude from Yale University in 2019 with distinction in Political Science. During her time at Yale she was awarded the Truman Scholarship for her service on the board of the Yale College Democrats, work for Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, engagement in local politics. She completed an MA in Gender Studies at University College Dublin in 2020, funded by the George J. Mitchell Scholarship. Her dissertation focused on the rhetorical influence that American anti-abortion organisations have had on their Irish counterparts. In her free time, Makayla loves trying new vegetarian recipes, going on sunny walks, and watching Love Island.
