Elin Watkins


Elin Watkins is an Associate and UK Employment Solicitor in the McAllister Olivarius UK team. She works on a range of matters including UK employment law, commercial support, litigation, and cross-border private family issues.

Elin is regularly involved in HR and management strategy and advises clients on claims at tribunal, employee disputes, settlement negotiations, HR processes and procedures (including grievances and sickness absence), drafting and advising on internal documents, redundancy, discrimination in the workplace, breach of contract and issues relating to constructive and unfair dismissal. She also advises individuals on settlement agreements and negotiation of exit deals.

Prior to joining McAllister Olivarius, Elin was an Employment Solicitor at Irwin Mitchell’s London office, where she primarily advised German-speaking high net-worth individuals as well as companies of all sizes from the DACH region. She has previously worked at Dentons Australia and, before that, owned and managed her business in the fashion industry.

She received her BA Hons. in Chinese Studies from the University of Manchester and completed the GDL and LPC at the London University of Law and BPP Law School.

Elin has business language proficiency in German, French and Mandarin.

Outside the office, she enjoys participating in regular running events, playing tennis, and travelling.
