Meet Chayan

Chayan Bhadana joined McAllister Olivarius in 2023 as a US Legal Analyst. She studied law at the University of Durham, focusing her academic work on the intersection between international human rights treaties and UK company law.

As president of the university’s Pro Bono Society, she founded two legal clinics, assisting single mothers with their child custody claims and allowing local residents to raise complaints over environmental issues. She was a frequent contributor to the Durham Pro Bono Blog, writing about everything from the legal mechanisms surrounding human rights to financial crime and corporate accountability.

Outside work, Chayan is an amateur equestrian who volunteers at a riding school. She also enjoys writing, going to the theatre and playing tennis.
