International law firm McAllister Olivarius is pleased to announce that Génevie Kuiper-Isaacson has joined as Senior Associate.
A hugely experienced employment lawyer, Génevie has advised both claimants and respondents in a range of complex matters, including TUPE, whistleblowing, grievance and disciplinary process related work, settlement negotiations, redundancies, enforcement and defence of restrictive covenants and corporate advisory and training. She also has a wealth of experience advising on claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination claims involving pregnancy and maternity, disability and race.
With offices in New York and Greater London, McAllister Olivarius has an international reputation for its work in civil litigation. With Génevie in place, the firm’s UK Practice will strengthen its employment offering to businesses and individuals.
Génevie previously ran her own specialist law firm in South Africa before working with at a prominent London firm dealing mainly with clients in the insurance sector. She also has considerable experience of advising claimants in employment matters. Since 2016, she has provided pro bono support for a social enterprise that assists cancer patients and survivors on how to manage work and cancer, return to work, and protect their employment rights, including by pursuing claims for disability discrimination. Most recently, she served as Supervising Solicitor at a well-known charity that specialises in advising working parents and carers on their employment rights.
