Dr. Olivarius reflects on 50 Years of Title IX at the 19th Represents Summit

Dr. Ann Olivarius joined Shiwali Patel, Director of National Women’s Law Center, and Karla Arango of End Rape On Campus to discuss the past, present and future of Title IX at 19th Represents Summit, co-hosted by the 19th News and USA Today.

Dr. Olivarius shared her thoughts on the following topics:

  • What does accountability look like now?
  • How must universities change?
  • What lessons from the 1970s still apply today?

She also talked about how her own experience of being raped at Yale and how it informed her work fighting for equality in education.
